Course Overview
It is a requirement by DVSA to have a good quality management system in place, regular quality control checks carried out to a suitable standard and a robust MOT administration system.
This intensive one-day training course will cover what your quality assurance & policies are, how to implement a quality assurance system and carry out your own internal site audits based on the DVSA site assessment criteria.
Who should attend?
This qualification has been developed for individuals who are responsible for the quality and records for a MOT test station.
Entry requirements for the Award in MOT Testing
There are no formal entry requirements but you do need to have experience of MOT testing ideally in an authorised examiner, quality controller, nominated tester or site manager role.
What you can achieve
Successful completion of quality assurance systems course will show you how to implement a quality assurance programme and give you the correct documentation and systems to put this in place at a VTS. If DVSA identify any problems during a site visit or disciplinary investigation, implementing the systems you learn on this course will help reduce the risk of severe enforcement action.
